DESCRIPTION:\n--WATER RESTRICTIONS\nWater usage should be kept to only esse
 ntial amounts beginning August 25th\, 2025. - 4-6 weeks.\n\n\nThe 2025 Wat
 er Tower Project is ready to get underway. The city water tower will be of
 fline to allow for repair and painting of the interior of the tank (last d
 one 1996) from 8/25 for the duration of the project. During this time\, wa
 ter pressure within the City of Mayville will be maintained by the pumps a
 t the water treatment plant and there will be no reserve water capacity av
 ailable.\n\n\nWhat this means to you:\nWater usage should be kept to what 
 is necessary.\n\n\nDO: Ensure your family is comfortable and daily usage f
 or hygiene\, cooking\, and laundry is adequate for your needs.\n\n\nDO: Mi
 nimize watering of lawns and gardens. Watering overnight (11pm-5am) when t
 here is reduced demand is ideal. Only use what is needed to keep vegetable
 s and important gardens alive.\n\n\nDO NOT: Use any water if the City Fire
  Siren has been sounded (other than the noon test on the 1st Monday of eac
 h month)\n\n\nDO NOT: be wasteful or use unnecessary water quantities.\n\n
 \nNo filling of swimming pools. No water to be taken from hydrants.\n\n\nE
 veryone's cooperation is necessary to ensure enough water is available to 
 the city and that the project can be completed quickly and smoothly. The p
 roject will take about four to six weeks to complete.\n\n\nIn the event of
  any unforeseen problems\, the city reserves the right to enforce further 
 restrictions as allowed by federal\, state\, county and city ordinances to
  ensure adequate water supply for necessary uses and fire protection.\n\n\
