Mayville State University will host its annual STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) carnival on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held in the Education Building at Mayville State University and it is free and open to the public. Children must be accompanied by a parent or other adult. There will be free popcorn and cotton candy for everyone.
The carnival will feature more than 20 STEM-related interactive activities for children of all ages, including a petting zoo. Activities throughout the day will be led by Mayville State University students and others representing the Mayville State Division of Teacher Education, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and Division of Science and Mathematics.
The STEM carnival is sponsored by Mayville State’s Education and Innovation Center and is presented in partnership with the MSU Student Education Association, Dakota Science Center, Dakota Nursing students, and the UND Society of Women Engineers.
