Class Ill Water/Class II Wasterwater Superintendent Position
The City of Mayville ND is accepting applications for a full-time position. Applicants should be experienced and skilled in operations, maintenance and management of potable drinking water treatment and distribution systems, wastewater collection and treatment systems, have diagnostic skills, able to schedule and manage personnel, have a team orientation with strong communication abilities and public relation skills. This position will require some overtime, weekend and holiday hours and the ability to schedule this for the team and tasks.
This person must have the ability to complete all testing and State reporting for the Water & Sewer Departments. The employee in this position oversees projects concerning water/wastewater and maintenance of these areas on an ongoing basis. They must have the ability to operate machinery as required. This position requires some lifting and random drug testing is required. Applicant should be able to respond to after-hours emergencies with-in 30 minutes.
If not already licensed will have to obtain all certifications and licenses required to perform all duties on an agreed upon timeline. Applicants should have or be able to obtain a Class III Water and a Class II Wastewater level of certification. Salary and benefit information will be available upon interview and based on experience. A comprehensive benefit package is available.
